Storms and White Jumpers

Melbourne was hit by storms on Saturday afternoon that brought torrential rain , flash floods and hailstone damage .Patrons attending Etihad Stadium for the Dockers vs Saints Final of the NAB Cup had a delayed entrance due to hailstone damage to a section of the outer roof. Despite the delay and all the fans being required to sit on the first level of the arena for safety reasons the game was played . The Saints played in their distinctive mainly black jumper jersey guernsey they have worn throughout the Cup and the Dockers played in their all white jersey jumper guernsey with the purple anchor .
Small crowds and wild weather conditions did not dampen the Saints efforts who beat the valiant Dockers. The Saints are now in the NAB Cup Grand Final.
The Saints will play a very good Western Bulldogs team . It may prove to be as exciting a final as the preliminary final of the 2009 season where the Saints just scraped a win against the talented Doggies side . Both teams will be eager for success especially as neither has won a day final for many years .
Who will wear what jumper jersey guernsey ? Will the Saints stick to the black and the Dogs the white as both sides have red and white as part of their teams colours . Stay tuned for next saturday nights Grand Final. It promises to be a tremendous game and brings a new twist in the white jumper jersey guernsey saga.
