Carlton on the other hand , are " under the pump "  , experiencing a six loss losing streak , and were beaten by an impressive Hawthorn on Friday night . Ugly rumours have again resurfaced about Brett Ratten' s coach' s position  being under threat .

The Western Bulldogs also continue their losing streak , and the Tigers went down to the Crows in Adelaide. The battle of the Coasters , West Vs Gold Coast , achieved a predictable result with the West winning . Likewise the Sydney Derby served up the predictable result of victory to  the Swans.

Today sees the unpredictable Saints , play the even more unpredictable Kangas , the Lions host the Demons , and  Cats challenge Port at home .

Fans are being treated to fast paced footy action . Many are wearing their much loved football jumpers , jerseys , guernseys and getting along to support their teams , win , lose or draw .
