Its only AFL but we like , like it , yes we do !

Round one of the AFL Home and Away 2012 Football Season continues this week .

Sheedy’s warriors  GWS , and the Sydney Swans , played the seasons opener in Sydney , last week .  Last night the Tigers and Blues clashed on a balmy Melbourne night , at the MCG.

Heaps of fanfare and hype surrounded the Game , billed as the clash of traditional rivals for the season opener . The Tigers were competitive early , and kept up with the strong  Blues team , but fell away towards the end of the match with the Blues running out convincing winners .

Tonights clash sees the Hawks take on the Magpies , again at the MCG  , for AFL Friday night footy .

An inaugral Sydney Derby , and two big night blockbusters , between strong supporter Melbourne based teams ,  sees the AFL planning a bold 2012 Home and  Away Season .

Football Jumpers , Jerseys , Guernseys ,who have been resting during the off season are excited about this weeks Games , and thrilled to be out of the closet , and onto the backs of ardent fans ,  where they belong .
