The chairman of the AFL Andrew Demetriou called out the new players name and the club he had been recruited to . Watched by family and friends and club officials the young man proudly strode toward the clubs coach who was smiling and holding the club colours aloft in the form of the teams current home strip. The colourful football jumper ,jersey ,guernsey was accepted gratefully by the new recruit who left the stage clutching his future football clubs jumper ,jersey ,guernsey . It is now a part of the clubs and his history . The humble football jumper ,jersey ,guernsey was present at the making of a future club champion to be written into club folklore . Nowhere was a football jumper ,jersey ,guernsey more proudly displayed along with the hopes and aspirations of those young players and their chosen clubs who are hoping for 2010 success.
